When Party Bags And Supplies asked us to review their party products for my nieces 3rd birthday party we jumped at the opportunity. I have always been intrigued about pre-made party supplies and I wanted to see if they were good quality and cost effective.
Party Bags and Supplies is a specialist online shop that caters for children’s and adults’ party needs. From party ware, filled party bags, themed products and party essentials they have everything you need for all occasions.
We opted to review The Gruffalo party pack. Ordering the product online was easy and the items arrived two days later. Our package included:
* 8 “Rumbling Tummy” plates (23cm paper plates in 4 designs)
* 8 “Terribly Thirsty” paper cups (250ml)
* 20 “Crumb-catching” napkins (33x33cm)
* A Gruffalo paper table cover (180x120cm)
Each item was made from high quality durable material. The table wear was authentic Gruffalo merchandise and looked wonderful laid out for the party.
There were also 8 pre-made party Gruffalo bags. Each bag contained:
* Bird Glider
* Sneaky Snake
* Frog Clapper with eyes
* Finger Fright Puppet
* Cadburys Freddo Caramel chocolate
The party bags were partly connected to the story. I assume the Finger Fright Puppet was to represent the Gruffalo, the Bird Glider for the owl and the Sneaky Snake for the snake. However, neither the mouse or the fox are featured and the party bag contains two types of frogs yet there are no frogs mentioned in the Gruffalo story. Despite this the items in the pre-made party bags were good quality and appealed to the childrens interests.
Overall I was impressed with the Gruffalo Party Pack from Party Bags and Supplies. The package works out approximately £3.50 per child. The package is certainly cost effective if you are strapped for time or do not wish to prepare individual party bags yourself. The Gruffalo party set looked brilliant and the children thoroughly enjoyed their party bags.
