After the success of our 31 Day Sensory Play Challenge back in January 2015 we decided to repeat the series for a second year. 31 Day Sensory Play Challenge 2016 is up and running!
The idea behind the 31 Day Sensory Play challenge is to encourage parents to explore sensory play with their little ones. We have allocated 31 sensory resources to each day of the month of January. We have created a list of activity ideas to get you inspired but feel free to use the resources in any way you wish.
This year we have created a 31 Day Sensory Play Challenge Calendar to help you with activity ideas.
Download your copy and keep it handy on your computer. Each morning simply open the calendar, locate the current date and click on the image. It will take you to the sensory activity idea for that day. Each post has plenty of other sensory activity inspiration based on that resource.
Here are the sensory activities that you will find on the free downloadable calendar:

How are you finding the challenge?
I facilitate a weekly playgroup so I will participate when I can -thanks
Hope all is going well at the weekly playgroup.
Ah this is fabulous! I’ll download and see what I can come up with. Luke’s at nursery 3/5 days so we only really get Monday and up until Friday evening to do exciting things but I may be able to squeeze in some extra time. Ray xx #toddlerapprovedtuesday
I tend to find activities first thing in the day works best. That is usually why you see Adam wearing pjs! Let us know how you get on.
This is a really great idea. I have already planned my January activities but I will use this as inspiration on days I havent planned!! Shall share on my facebook page! Love love love it!
