Wroxham Barns Junior Farm

May 2, 2014 by Emma Edwards Leave a Comment

We celebrated Adam’s 2nd birthday with Nana and Grandad at Wroxham Barns.  It is based in Hoveton, Norfolk and has many shops, mini golf, a funfair and the Junior Farm.

We visited the Junior Farm last year for Adam’s birthday.  I love looking back at photos as I never notice the day to day changes in Adam.

We arrived at the Junior Farm in time to feed the lambs.

Adam was too excited to sit still during the information talk and wanted to explore the straw.

We had a very exitable lamb who was eager to get it’s milk.

At Wroxham Barns you are able to hand feed the animals.  Adam loved feeding the sheep until one made a noise.  He would put his hands over his eyes and stand still – a rare sight with Adam.

The Junior Farm is enclosed so Adam was able to run around freely.

For lunch we went to the Wroxham Barns Restaurant.  The menu had a good selection for adults, although pricey for toddlers and there were no dairy free options.

The birthday excitement must have got too much for Adam as he fell asleep in the highchair – something he hasn’t done for months.

He didn’t sleep for long though so we were able to go to the indoor play area. Adam loved the slide – although he had to get through two tricky obstacles to get to it which meant I had several trips up the climbing frame to help him.

In true Adam style he managed to make a ramp.  He kept getting balls from the ball pool area (sometimes 4 at a time), climb the steps of the arch slide and then push the balls down the slope.

Adam certainly enjoyed his birthday at Wroxham Barns Junior Farm.
