Wooden block drop – Day 76 Play Challenge

January 26, 2014 by Emma Edwards Leave a Comment

With Adam still being poorly from Day 73 we opted for a very easy activity – wooden block drop.

Adventures of Adam

Simply drop wooden blocks, such as Jenga, into different cardboard boxes.

I am always surprised for how long Adam can concentrate on such activities. All of the time he appears to really concentrate and gains enjoyment from filling the box up, emptying it and starting again. Great for when you are feeling rubbish.

Equipment:

* Jenga blocks or similar wooden blocks

* A cardboard box

Adam was 20 months old.

Welcome!

Emma and Adam

During a difficult pregnancy suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) Emma vowed to make every day an adventure once she had recovered. Adventures of Adam is the outcome of completing a 100 day play challenge with Adam as part of that promise. Emma has a section dedicated to HG friendly play activities so that Mums can still be part of their children’s play whilst they are ill.
