The Imagination Tree shows how you can combine two ingredients and some glitter to create a sparkly snow dough winter wonderland.

Use shredded coconut to create an Arctic sensory bin. Coconut scented play dough is incredibly easy to make and can be used as a sensory bin base.

Who knew that paper pulp could create such amazing looking snowmen. Housing A Forest demonstrates how to make and use this versatile resource.

Crayon Box Chronicles has used blue jello/jelly and whipped cream to make an Antarctic sensory playground for your penguins.

Stir The Wonder added artificial snow and some trucks to create a snowy winter small world sensory bin. We love how they have connected two sensory bins together.

My Mundane and Miraculous Life added rice and shredded coconut to make their winter sensory bin. Raid your kitchen for some utensils so your little ones can scoop up the contents of the wintry sensory bin.

Provide some resources and let your child create their own winter sensory bin. Take a look to see how Happy Hooligans put their Icy Activity Bin together

Before creating your own snow globes let your little ones explore the materials. Teach Preschool turned theirs into a sensory play activity before creating the actual snow globes.

Use pebbles to make your own penguin story stones. These are really easy to make and are great for re-enacting the story of Hiku The Penguin or creating an Antarctic small world.

Take your small world play out and about with this Arctic small world play in a suitcase. The Imagination Tree shows you how to create your own with minimal effort but with maximum wow factor.

Welcome!

Emma and Adam

During a difficult pregnancy suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) Emma vowed to make every day an adventure once she had recovered. Adventures of Adam is the outcome of completing a 100 day play challenge with Adam as part of that promise. Emma has a section dedicated to HG friendly play activities so that Mums can still be part of their children’s play whilst they are ill.
