Finally spring is in the air and summer is just around the corner. It is the perfect time to get outside to play. Have you considered playing with flowers before? Well here are our Top Ten Flower Sensory Bins to inspire you.
Flower Sensory Soup
We created Sunflower Sensory Soup to explore the texture and smell of sunflowers. We added a few kitchen utensils for Adam to have his first experience of sensory soup.
Alternative Flower Sensory Bins
If you do not like the thought of removing flowers or do not have any to hand then take a look at these options.
Fun A Day took fake flowers, playdough and a tub of “dirt” (aka coffee beans and black beans) to make a Coffee and Flower Sensory Bin. This simple yet effective child led activity is wonderful to see where the children take their play.
Finally last but not least, if you do not have access to any flowers why not make some! Mama Papa Bubba created their Floating Flower activity using pool noodles. Now this is one type of flower even I could manage to make!
