Edible Rainbow Snacks

Snack Edible Rainbows

How beautiful and yummy does this Rainbow Pancake from Still Playing School look. A great activity to develop fine motor skills. They are incredibly easy to make too.

Following this Rainbow Fruit Skewers recipe from Eats Amazing so even little ones can make their own edible rainbow is perfect for breakfast, an after school snack, dessert or a healthy party food idea.

Paint your own rainbow onto bread before eating it. What a super quick rainbow snack. Simply follow Learn Play Imagine’s Rainbow Toast recipe.

Edible Rainbow Sensory Play

Using just two ingredients of bread and food colouring, you can create your own edible rainbow. Adam loved nibbling away at this rainbow in his Tuff Spot.

Create a colourful and vibrant Rainbow Pasta Sensory Bin like Still Playing School. Substitute the soap foam and you have an taste safe rainbow sensory bin.

Place layers of jello into a large container to create this beautiful Rainbow Jello Sensory Play. I love Craftulate’s idea of placing it on a light box for additional sensory fun.

I truly admire the patience that went into the Rainbow Sensory bin from Sugar, Spice and Glitter. I will never look at Froot Loops in the same way again.

Create your own Rainbow masterpieces with Edible Paints from Preschool Powol Packets. There is an additional twist because the paints are scented!

Dye Tapicoa Pearls with food colouring to create your own edible rainbow sensory bin. I love that Life With Moore Babies even included a blue jello base.

This Rainbow Play Dough recipe from Preschool Powol Packets is not only edible but is scented and salt free too!

Haha, thanks for including our Edible Rainbow Sensory Bin. Patience, indeed. I think next time, I’m just going to dye Cheerios – that has to be faster, right?

Some fab rainbow ideas here. I’ve pinned this post to my Rainbows Pinterest board. We did lots of rainbow activities last year inspired by the picture book ‘At the End of the Rainbow’.
