Could you give a fairy a home? For years a small group of fairies were living with humans. News spread about how happy they were and more and more fairies wanted to find a home. Fairies thrive on the belief humans have in them. Luckily the Irish Fairy Door Company stepped in and have been matching fairies with the right humans.
The Irish Fairy Door Company provides everything you need in order to welcome a fairy into your home, classroom, garden or woods. The box contains a high quality, handmade wooden fairy door available in a variety of colours, a Magic Key, three small wooden stepping stones, a Fairy Welcome Guide, Fairy Notepad and a family/fairy lease agreement.
What makes the Irish Fairy Door Company different is the interactive technology element. Once you register your fairy’s name via the website, Fairy HQ ensures direct access to Fairy Valley. Long after your fairy has moved in the magic continues with ongoing magical messages, play ideas and stories which are delivered via email or app.
The fairy door is easy to fit and can be attached to the skirting board, window sill or a tree. A Family/Fairy Lease Agreement is provided for everyone to sign before a fairy can move in. This is sent to Queen Kate in Fairy Valley. Once you have registered your fairy’s details on the Irish Door Company’s website all you need to do is leave the Magic Key beside the door. Your fairy will need it to move into their brand new home. The key will disappear when the fairy has moved in.
Each week you receive an email directly from Fairy Valley. These stories and activities make it easier for you to interact with your fairy. A notepad is provided so you can leave messages and pictures for your fairy. The Fairy Welcome Guide provides you and your child with all the information you need to welcome a fairy into your home.
Adam is going through a phase of being scared of the dark. It was interfering with his sleep so we decided to introduce “Night Fairy” into his bedroom. We attached the Fairy Door to the skirting board in Adam’s bedroom. We purposefully placed it next to a power socket and inserted a night light. When we introduced Night Fairy we explained that when the night light was on it meant that Night Fairy was looking after Adam. Night Fairy would ensure that there was nothing scary in his room.
On the first day we left out the Magic Key and registered Night Fairy’s details online. The process was simple and Adam enjoyed the experience. That night when Adam was getting ready for bed he realised that the Magic Key had disappeared and the nightlight was turned on. Our fairy had moved in! You can imagine Adam’s excitement as he frequently knocked on the foor and checked to see if the light was still on. We left Night Fairy a message and that morning a Well Done Adam note was left in its place along with a sticker. Adam hadn’t mentioned about being scared during the night.
We love the extra touch of receiving emails from Fairy Valley. It gives parents prompts on how to encourage imaginative play and extends the experience of having a fairy live with you.
The Irish Door Company also provides everything you need to accessorise your Fairy Door. From stunning vinyl decals (we love the castle one), fairy door mats, washing lines and other add-ons to enhance your fairy home.
The only question is: Do you believe?
