Since winning a competition hosted by Children Are Welcome we have been slightly obsessed with Neon Paint. The neon paint is from Rainbow Creations and the wonderful team are giving Adventures of Adam readers a chance of winning their own set of neon paint. Neon paint is activated with a UV backlight. We will also provide a UV torch to the lucky winner. You can find out how to enter at the bottom of this post.
Rainbow Creation’s neon ready mixed paint comes in six neon colours – blue, pink, orange, green, yellow and red. The water based paint comes in 125ml screw top bottles. Despite all of our neon paint adventures we still have plenty left so a little paint goes a long way.
Here are six neon paint adventures we have had so far:
Simply mix neon paint and rice in a zip-loc bag, lay it on a baking tray to dry and then place it in a tub. Turn off the lights, turn on the UV handheld torch and have hours of neon rice sensory fun!
Adam already loves to paint in the bath but painting with the lights turned off is extra fun. He particularly liked making neon hand prints.
We turned an ordinary Space Sensory Bin into a Neon experience. We painted polystyrene stars with neon yellow paint.
We added an extra dimension to our Valentine Sensory Bottles. Not only did they look fantastic in the day time but Adam could continue playing with them once night time fell.
We couldn’t have a space fort without including our Neon paint. We recycled our neon polystyrene stars and hung them from the ceiling our of cardboard box.
I wonder what neon paint adventures we will have in the future!
The lovely people at Rainbow Creations are giving an Adventure of Adam reader the opportunity to win a set of their own neon paint. Adam and I will provide you with a UV backlight torch too. Simply complete the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win:
