Personalised Music Player Review

September 21, 2015 by Emma Gadsby 4 Comments

As Adam is beginning to show a love for music and dancing we jumped at the opportunity to review the Personalised Music Player from I Just Love It.  The “Sing My Name Rabbit” is a high quality product and comes in blue or pink. It is made from tough ABS plastic which makes it durable and withstand knocks and falls.

I Just Love It personalised music player for kids

The Rabbit has been designed with children in mind as it has soft touch buttons, a smooth rounded design and it is simple to operate.

MP3 Rabbit music

What makes this bunny music player unique is that it is programmed with 12 fun songs that feature your child’s name in the lyrics. Our songs included “Wake up, Adam“, “When You Grow Up Adam,” “Do you want to go to the Zoo, Adam“, “It’s time to play Adam” and “Go to sleep Adam.” Each song is around 3 minutes long and there is even a Happy Birthday song. The music player has dedicated buttons with pre-programmed “Wake up”, “Sleepy Time” and “Fun” music. The sound  is very good quality as it includes a high fidelity speaker. The volume is controlled by turning the Rabbits tail at the back of the device.

However, the cute bunny is not just a music player. It comes with 2GB of memory so you can download up to 500 of your favourite songs. This would be great for a mini disco in their bedroom. The rabbit has a voice record function so that you can record your own messages or you reading their favourite bed time story to comfort them during the night.

Light up Rabbit music player

That is not all! If you press the bunny’s hand it activates the soothing night light. The rabbits ears light up with a soft glowing light and will gently change colour.  If you press the other hand then the bunny’s face will light up. This soft light can act as a lamp. See the mp3 player in action:

At first I was skeptical about the Sing My Name Rabbit. I thought it would require several batteries or need to be plugged in – something I avoid doing in Adam’s bedroom. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it has a built-in rechargeable battery. It can be charged via USB cable or mains charger and will last up to 6 hours.

Ordering the personalised music player on the I Just Love It website was straightforward. I simply added Adam’s name, details on how to pronounce his name and selected either for the rabbit to be blue or pink. The item arrived securly packaged a few days later – not bad for a personalised item.

We can highly recommend this multi-functional music player. Adam loves being able to control the music himself and is able to operate the lights independently. The personalised songs are fantastic and guaranteed to get your little one dancing and singing along. The songs are very catchy and you do find yourself singing them throughout the day. The Rabbit fits perfectly next to Adam’s bed but is also portable and came with us on holiday. You do not have to change any batteries and charging the device via your computer is easy. The Sing My Name Rabbit would make a wonderful and unique gift for children of any age.
