“Noisy Dinosaurs” from Little Tiger Press is a wonderful new book from their “Play Discover Learn” series. This interactive book is unlike anything we have seen before. It is classed as a “my first touch and feel sound book” it gives your child the opportunity to explore different textures and sounds of 5 dinosaurs. This book is Adam’s dream come true!

The non-fiction book gives basic information about Tyrannosaurs Rex, Stegosaurus, Pterodactyl, Diplodocus and Triceratops. The chunky book enhances your childs hand-eye coordination, encourages speech and enables your child to discover a pre-historic world. To hear the noise that each dinosaur makes you have to press a sound button incorporated into the cardboard pages. Each sound button is hidden behind a different texture and on a body part of each dinosaur.
You can hear the roar of T-Rex by touching his bumpy cheek, hear the Stegosaurus howl by touching his rough plates and hear the Pterodactyl screech by touching her soft wing. The book encourages your child to tickle the tummy of the Diplodocus to hear her growl and touch the frill of the Triceratops to hear him grunt. At the end of the hardback book you can hear all five dinosaurs make a noise in one place.
Adam is absolutely captivated by Noisy Dinosaurs. He loves to roar, howl and screech as he imitates the dinosaur noises. He can now name the 5 different dinosaurs and identify them from their features. I am not usually a fan of noisy books as their sounds irrate me. However, I do not get annoyed by this book at all. It is certainly a hit in our household.
Noisy Dinosaurs is aimed at 3-5 year olds and is retailed at £8.99. The book is available from Amazon and all good bookstores.
