Sometimes a product comes along that after a while you cant imagine your child being without. The Mini Hornit is one of those products.
The Mini Hornit attaches to a childs bike or scooter and is the ultimate sound effect and light accessory. It is loaded with 25 sounds and two light settings enabling your child to be seen and heard whilst out and about.
The Mini Hornit is incredibly easy to attach. The hornit’s clip on wings attach to the handle bars. It can be adjusted to fit securely on one of three settings. There is no need for your child to take their hands off of the handlebars in order to operate the sounds. It comes with a remote trigger which is attached close to your childs hand. Your child can use it to change the sound effects with their thumb.
The Mini Hornit has two light effects – a white safety light and a funky green light. The light has five flashing or constant settings. It is also weatherproof so there is no need to remove it if it rains.
With 25 sound effects the Mini Hornit is bound to capture your child’s imagination. From the traditional bell and hooter sounds, it also sounds like a racing car, motor bike, helicopter, UFO, police car and a fire engine. There are animal sound effects such as a lion, elephant, horse and a rooster as well as unusual sounds including burpfarts, laser and magic carpet. Daddy’s favourite sound is the Dixie Horn whereas Adam’s is the car crash. Hear it in action:
My initial concern over the Mini Hornit was the noise factor. I had visions of having to hide it because it was too noisy. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The device comes with three volume settings. The lowest setting is great for indoor use, whereas the loudest volume is perfect for being heard when out and about.
From the moment we got Adam’s new bike, the Mini Hornit has been attached to it. Adam loves creating different sounds effects whilst cycling. The remote trigger comes in useful when he is cycling fast. I love that the device can be adjusted to fit scooters and different styles of bikes as Adam grows. I can see Adam (and Daddy) getting enjoyment from the Mini Hornit for years to come.
