Adam is an early riser. In fact Adam is a very early riser. Our day usually starts at 5.30am. We go downstairs and Adam plays. Today though I found the 5.30am start hard work. So I went to lay down on the sofa. The problem was that Adam had decided to use the sofa as a carpark for all his vehicles. He kept whinging when I removed the vehicles and he kept trying to climb on me to put them back. I remembered about our masking tape car track we created on Day 26 and 27. So I quickly created a car park on the floor with masking tape. I included a road around the car park too. Adam had his car park and I had the sofa so we were both happy.
Later in the day we visited Horsey beach. When we took Adam this time last year he was still in his carrier.
This year he was running up and down the dunes!
Adam in his usual style of walking wanted to go in the opposite direction so we zig-zagged across the beach. That was until Dad-dad found an easier way.
Adam loved walking on the concrete dune protectors.
15 minutes into the walk Adam started playing in a pool.
Seconds later though he fell over and completely soaked himself.
When Adam gets wet or dirty he immediately freezes and won’t move. I picked him out of the pool but he carried on standing still looking down at his trousers.
Dad-dad and I were in fits of giggles. The laughter increased when Adam started to waddle instead of walk.
It felt a long way back to the car! The water had soaked Adam right through so he had to be completely stripped down in the car. Certainly a photo to embarrass him when he is older!
