Although I knew the toddlers wouldn’t yet be able to use the hole punches independently, I thought Beth and Adam would enjoy seeing the small duck and rabbits that the hole punch created. Time for some hole punch fun!
I gave the cousins a variety of coloured paper and 4 small hole punches each. The equipment was placed on a tray to try and contain the small pieces of paper.
Nana and I helped by placing the paper into the hole punch as the gap was extremely narrow. The cousins had great fun pushing the hole punch down. It was a great activity to develop their fine motor skills.
The pair were fascinated with the tiny rabbit and duck cut outs.
It is an activity we will be able to revisit again and again as they cousins grow.
