Activities from our Tuff Spot A-Z Challenge for the letter H from Adventures of Adam readers.
H is for…
Hearts Tuff Spot
“Hopefully the tissue paper hearts will be matched onto the right outline and stick onto the sticky back. We’ll see…” Tamysn
Hunt Tuff Spot
“Although we don’t have a tuff tray we are joining in. So today H is for Hunt! An Easter inspired activity which even the cat enjoyed.” Kerrie
Heuristic Play Tuff Spot
“Inspired by my daughters love of ‘collections’ I set this up for her to come down to this morning. Her face! All of her favourite things in one place. But wait…there’s no picking it all up and dumping it in her dolls pram today, oh no. I encouraged her to visit each station and when she was done she tidied up so it was ready to visit again later. She could use whatever she liked from the middle to enhance her play. She’s been at it for around an hour now, and no sign of her walking off to hide the little bits anywhere.” Haley
Hoops, hedgehogs, herbs and a little horse Tuff Spot
“She also tried to make a helicopter with the spaghetti strands! Jo
Horses Tuff Spot
“Horses in a (mostly) edible sensory tray…just after I took this picture my son climbed right in!!” Clara
Handprint Art Tuff Spot
“We used flour and food dye paint and created a lovely masterpiece. Joshua really enjoyed letting the paint drip from his hands and flicking paint everywhere! By the end he looked like a proper little artist.” Monica
Healthy Tuff Spot
“Did a little game using the orchard toy pieces and she fed the unhealthy cards to the gorilla. Did a new chart to reward her for trying new foods and with Elsa and Anna encouraging her on it and Violet tried 3 out of 5! Ivy scoffed the lot. Hoping this has paved a way to making Violet less fussy.” Gemma
Handprint Art Tuff Spot
“Handprint art, with 3 year old and 5 month old.” Janey
Holes
“I hadn’t planned a h. Mainly because I was working then we had a play date. Bella then said to me mummy what’s in the sensory box today and I couldn’t disappoint her so quickly whipped this up. They had great fun. Elleah started by trying to bang the Pom poms through with her palm but soon learnt poking with a finger was more successful. She used the biggest holes for everything. Bella found which holes suited which objects but also had fun leaving things stuck out rather than putting them right through.” Hannah
