Greek Yogurt Finger Painting Tuff Spot
“This went down a treat and Lauryn also discovered it was edible.” Gail
Germs Tuff Spot
“Using mucky paint to visualise germs and practising making soap suds to support hand washing skills.” Sally
Glue Tuff Spot
“I recycled the flowers we used yesterday and separated the petals into colours. I then spread a thin layer of PVA glue into an A3 paper and Joshua had lots of fun picking the petals up and dropping them onto the paper so they would stick. We finished off by drizzling some more glue onto the petals so they would stay stuck. Won’t last long but it made a very pretty spring collage!” Monica
Guttering Tuff Spot from Tamsyn
Growing/ Gardening Tuff Spot
“The children planted lots of different seeds but specifically sunflower seeds. We used clear plastic cups with tissue paper in one and compost in the other, placing the seed in each in the same place. The cycle of a sunflower seed is 56 days so we will keep looking every day to see which one the seed favours best.” Haley
Green Tuff Spot from Beth
Garden Tuff Spot
“My attempt at an (almost) edible garden. Son is 3.5yo and won’t try to eat the gravel! Cornflakes, there is also shredded wheat fences and crushed bourbon biscuits for the mud and a little tinfoil pond.” Rhian
Gardening
“We went into the garden today, I took the tuff spot out but our garden is still a little gravely so not much to collect for the tray. We found worms, woodlouse’s, slugs, spiders, lady birds, snail shells and some birds nests (in a very far away trees!). We planted some flowers and put the scraps out on the compost.” Bobbie
Gloop Tuff Spot
“It took a while for them to get stuck in, 6yr old made Gloop, 4yr old ‘baked’ a cake and 1yr old used his spoon to mix different colours together before adding cornflour!….Naturally its ended in carnage.” Clara
Girly Tuff Spot
“This was great for colour sorting. Violet put all the bangles and bracelets into the matching bags and chose scarves to match. She also enjoyed opening and closing the different clasps. I then let her put make-up on me. Ivy enjoyed the sounds of the beads on the floor and playing with the bangles. Will do this one again.” Gemma
