It has been some time since we last created Fybogel slime. To date we have made Christmas Fybogel and Alphabet Fybogel Slime both of which have been very successful. As Halloween is coming up I decided to add a spooky element and created Fybogel Googly Eye Slime.

Creating Fybogel is so easy and only takes a few minutes. We used three Fybogel sachets and a variety of different sized Googly Eyes
. Take a look at our video on how we made our Fybogel Googly Eye Slime.
I had the perfect container to place our Halloween Fybogel Slime into – a cauldron!
Immediately I knew this would be Adam’s favourite Fybogel slime activity. He loved poking the individual googly eyes and attempted to squish them out of the slime.
Next we tired different fine motor skill tools to see what was the easiest to remove the eyes. The Jumbo Tweezer was a little too big for the task but the Gator Grabber
worked well.
At the Mad Blog Awards I was given a Kung Fu Panda Cleverstix inside our goodie bag. Cleverstix are child development cutlery which uses a special ergonomic chopsticks-style pincer design. After using them in this activity Cleverstix have become our firm favourite fine motor skill tool!
Once I helped Adam insert his fingers into the chopstick he loved how he could move it independently. You will no doubt be seeing more of Cleverstix activities on the blog!
After exploring the fine motor skill tools, Adam spent ages lifting up the fybogel and watching it slowly fall to the table. He repeated this time and time again.
Once play was finished I simply put the fybogel back into the cauldron and placed it in the fridge. Our Fybogel Googly Eye Slime was ready to play with again later on.
Equipment:
* Fybogel – we used three sachets
* Different sized Googly Eyes
* Fine motor skills tools. We used a Gator Grabber, Jumbo Tweezer
and Kung Fu Panda Cleverstix

What a cool, spooky activity and fantastic for learning those motor skills too. It does look a bit creepy though, perfect for halloween.
