Adam loves puzzles and photographs and I wanted another way to combine the two as on Day 41. So I followed the instrucions on Crafts Unleashed. This time I used lollipop sticks and stuck on photographs with super glue. I used a different coloured lollipop sticks for each picture to aid sorting. My first attempt was with a photograph of Adam and I when he was a few months old.
On the back of the photograph I used super glue to stick the lollipop sticks.
Once the glue had dried I attempted to use scissors to cut around the lollipop sticks.
This didn’t work as well as a craft or Stanley knife and the edges were uneven.
I then repeated the same actions with a picture of Mr Tumble cut out of a magazine.
I found an old box and decorated it with a strip of Duck Tape. The box is an ideal size to store the lollipop sticks.
Adam found creating the puzzle difficult, especially as the pictures weren’t toddler friendly. The fact that he kept trying to eat the lollipop sticks didn’t help much either. He enjoyed his time playing with Dad-dad though.
I am looking forward to do this activity from Real Purdy when Adam is a little older and can draw his own pictures.
