Today we have an Adventures of Adam reader writing a guest post for us as part of our Tuff Spot A-Z Blog Hop.
Kelly is a Mum of two who lives Maine, America. We met Kelly through our previous play challenges so am excited that she could write a guest post today.
D is for Dinosaur Tuff Spot
We did a dinosaur Tuff tray for letter D. I do no have a tuff tray yet. So I cut a large box and kept sides on so everything will stay in. We used mostly edible stuff. I colored coconut flakes green for the grass. Rice krispies and cheerios for dirt. The stream is made from playdough. I put rocks along the stream. We added cut up logs and a tree
The first dinosaur my son wants to play with is T-Rex. He stomps him in the “stream” and was fascinated by the foot prints he was making. He took the other dinosaurs to see if they we’re similar. He loved doing that.
My son loves to have trex chase the other dinosaurs. He hid Stegasaurus behind the logs and built the smaller logs up like stairs onto the biggest log so he could climb over to see Stegasaurus.
When my daughter joined us she started to eat the coconut and my son decided to try it, but didn’t like it. They had a ball playing with it.
