CharacterWise Review

August 6, 2015 by Emma Gadsby Leave a Comment

Adam is a huge Minion fan so when CharacterWise asked us to review a product from their wide range of character based toys the Despicable Me Activity Truck was an obvious choice.

CharacterWise aim to take character from stories and bring them to life. They are an online shop with a wide range of character branded goodies to suit any occasion. Characters include Me To You, Hello Kitty, Peppa Pig, Frozen, My Little Pony, Big Hero 6 and Mr Men. All products are 100% genuine licensed products.

The CharacterWise website is simple to navigate around and their ‘Present Finder’ tool makes it easy to locate a gift depending on occasion, recipient and price range. Their prices are extremely competitive and delivery is free when you spend over £35.

Ordering our Despicable Me Activity Truck was straight forward. The item arrived within two working days and was packaged well.

The yellow plastic truck has four sturdy wheels, a lid and a blue handle so the truck can be pulled along. Adam loves to transport his toys around the garden so the Despicable Me truck has come in very handy for this. It has also survived a trip to the seaside and held several buckets of sand.

The Jumbo Minion Activity truck holds a variety of Minion based arts and crafts. It contained:

* 2 x A5 sticker sheets

* Pencil sharpener

* 4 x self inking stampers

* 5  x chunky felt tip pens

* 5 x colouring pencils

* 4 x A5 character standees

* Sketch pad

*2 meter long roll out poster

The Minion standees are made from thick cardboard and are easy to cut out. They stand up easily and make a great prop for a bit of Minion bowling!

The two meter ‘colour in’ Minion poster kept the three cousins occupied for ages. The pens and pencils provided in the truck were good quality and the kids enjoyed decorating their own part of the poster with stickers and stampers.

We would highly

Characterwise is for character branded merchandise. It is the one stop shop for character gifts, stationery, homeware, accessories, toys, cards and more.

Emma has a section dedicated to HG friendly play activities so that Mums can still be part of their children’s play whilst they are ill.
