Bizzy Bitz Review

September 29, 2015 by Emma Gadsby 8 Comments

My husband is a huge fan of construction. He has been collecting kits for our family since before Adam was born! So when I heard about Bizzy Bitz I knew it would be a hit with both Adam and Daddy.

Adventures of Adam Bizzy Bitz

Bizzy Bitz is a colourful new construction toy where the shapes lock together using a simple ‘ball and socket’ system. Each piece fits together easily and there are endless possibilities of what you can create.

Luckily for people like me who lack creativity each pack comes with an easy-to-follow instruction booklet. It directs you how to build a variety of items.

Bizzy Bitz instructions

Bizzy Bitz has many educational benefits including:

* stimulating imagination and encourages creative play

* improves dexterity and spatial awareness

* helps concentration and enhances problem solving skills

Bizzy Bitz will also not break the bank. Kits start from £4.99 for 35 pieces and go up to £17.99 for 164 pieces. The activity is suited for children aged 3-6 years.

We tested out the medium sized kit which contains 63 pieces and is retailed at £9.99. Our kit contained a range of vibrant coloured shapes which were made from high quality plastic. The instruction booklet gave clear directions on how to create a boat, flower, house and a car.

Adam didn’t have any problems fitting the pieces together independently. We like how each piece can be rotated 360 degrees and this enables you to create more models. The pieces were flexible yet sturdy and a perfect size for Adam to manipulate.

The box claims that Bizzy Bitz is “cool, addictive and fun” and I have to agree with them. Adam and Daddy have spent ages creating models together and discussing where different pieces can go. However, for Adam the activity always has to finish with them making their favourite model – the car.

The Bizzy Bitz website also has a fantastic gallery of different models for you to create.

So what would you create first?  An eye-catching necklace, a zooming vehicle, a complex building or even a character with moving parts. With Bizzy Bitz the possibilities are endless. Play. Build. Create.Adventures of Adam Bizzy Bitz Construction kit

I’ve never seen these before, they look really interesting. Can you buy additional sets and make different things with them? My nephew would love these. He’s into building cars, trains and anything else with wheels! #ToyTuesday

I have never seen theses before, but I think Tyrus aged 4 would love them, thanks for giving my first real Christmas gift idea for the boy!

Interesting they have made it into schools. Much cheaper than other construction sets on the market.

This looks great, something my two would love as they’re forever building things…they look like they’d be slightly friendlier on the feet if you accidentally stand on it compared to their current choice of construction aids! #ToyTuesday

Luckily I haven’t put that to the test…yet!
