Beautiful Rainbow World Book Review

November 21, 2014 by Emma Gadsby 5 Comments

We are delighted to be taking part in the Beautiful Rainbow World book tour.

Beautiful Rainbow World  is created by Suzee Ramirez and Lynne Raspet and based on the award-winning song “Beautiful Rainbow World” by Daria Marmaluk-Hajioannou. The lyrics are extended in the book and by purchasing a copy of the book you are able to download your own copy of the song. Be warned – you do find yourself singing along to the lyrics and will no longer ‘read’ the words!

Beautiful Rainbow World book

A collaboration between Two Poppies and Multicultural Kids has created this gorgeous photographic book to celebrate children from across the world. The photographs are simply stunning. They are bright, colourful and are complimented with colourful and fun fonts. My photographs of the book can not do it justice.

Rainbow world

The book celebrates the differences, similarities and diversity of children from around the globe. It gives you an insight into each child’s world and what is important to them. It is a wonderful discussion starter and would be a perfect addition to a classroom library or home book shelf. The paper backed book is a perfect size for young children to be able to hold independently. I look forward to when Adam is old enough to discuss about the lives of the children in the book and find out more about where they live.

Beautiful world

Beautiful Rainbow World can be purchased on Amazon in book form for $11.96. If you are in the UK you are able to buy the Kindle edition for £1.92.

Take a look at the other wonderful products available from DARIA’s Little Village Store.

This looks truly lovely, both in terms of the photography as well as the sentiment behind it. If it ever becomes available in print in the UK I’ll be getting it! It’s just the thing for our multi-cultural family.

Welcome!

Emma and Adam

During a difficult pregnancy suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) Emma vowed to make every day an adventure once she had recovered. Adventures of Adam is the outcome of completing a 100 day play challenge with Adam as part of that promise. Emma has a section dedicated to HG friendly play activities so that Mums can still be part of their children’s play whilst they are ill.
