Adam’s birthday – opening presents

May 2, 2014 by Emma Edwards 1 Comment

Friday 2nd May was Adam’s 2nd birthday. I still can’t believe where the past two years have gone! The nine months of pregnancy might have dragged and dragged but the last two years have flown by in an instant.

As Dad-Dad had to go to work early we decided that Adam would only open a few presents at the beginning of the day. Immediately walking into our room Adam spotted the 30 inch Minion balloon.

He instantly fell in love with ‘Dave’ the minion.

We hadn’t wrapped his balance bike but already we have discovered he is too small for it. A bit of growing will be needed until he can touch the floor!

Adam received a package through the post from our dear friends Katrina and her son Griffin. Katrina and I went through our Hyperemesis Gravidarum pregnancies together and Griffin is three weeks older than Adam. When the boys met last October they instantly hit it off.

The HG brothers share a love of minions and Katrina and Griffin kindly sent Adam a minion t-shirt with his name on it.

He tried to put it on straight away and kept hugging his t-shirt!

Adam had a large present from our friends Kate and her son Max. When opening it he spotted a wheel and the paper was instantly off. It was a huge dumper truck. Kate and Max certainly know Adam well.

Adam had more presents to open but he couldn’t be parted from his dumper truck. Dad-Dad became a road and Adam was in his element!

The other presents would have to wait!
Disclaimer: I received vouchers as part of the #MorrisonsMum campaign to spend in store so that I could blog about my Morrisons experience and about my Bank Holiday weekend! All the views are mine and mine alone.

Welcome!

Emma and Adam

During a difficult pregnancy suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) Emma vowed to make every day an adventure once she had recovered. Adventures of Adam is the outcome of completing a 100 day play challenge with Adam as part of that promise. Emma has a section dedicated to HG friendly play activities so that Mums can still be part of their children’s play whilst they are ill.
